This was an interesting find and I spent more time than I probably should have messing around with it. For some reason it is not always up and running, but if you do have a chance to experiment with it you might like it.

I believe this is sort of an older model, it only does sound effects and synthetic voices from the school of wooden acting. The fidelity is not super high but good enough for many tasks. There are a couple of pre-made samples on the site and here is a link to a story segment I created, it won’t win any awards but it was fun to make. Pair this with some images and you would have a nice story format.

Currently I usually just use it to generate sound effects. It’s one of the only free tools that I have found to do that, so sometimes it comes in very handy when Canva doesn’t have what I am looking for. Generating sound effects can be pretty hit-and-miss, but keep at it, eventually you get better at describing what you want.
