Playground
🏀⚽️🎳Sports equipment arrives!!
The latest cool tool that the Koala team has given us is…sports equipment, lots and lots of sports equipment. I haven’t even tried it all out yet.

So far, my favorites are the super slippery bean bag, it seems to slide forever on ice, and the tennis net, it is not just a net, stay tuned…Naturally, I immediately started to think about things to build using the new tools.

Solo Hoops is the first, super simple Playground I built for students to shoot baskets, nothing else, just a court with 20 basketballs and 2 hoops. I branded it with my logos and submitted it as a Playground Story to share with everyone, teachers and students.
This is where the link was supposed to be, but the approval time has been longer than usual. So here is a link to my Playground Story Portal, just keep checking until it I arrives.
I also went ahead and published it as a FREE Playground!
Soccer/Football will be next.

Playground Launch
🚌👩🏿💼Rosa Parks History Museum
Dawn has been pretty busy of late creating Playgrounds, expect to see more from her very soon.🥚🐇
I got to walk through this one with it’s creator, this is a Playground that could be used for International Women’s Day or Black History Month or just plain history.

It’s linear and easy to navigate without getting lost. The colors and images all go together nicely to give a definite museum vibe.

As you work through the puzzles you read about some of the major life events of Rosa Parks.

Near the end is a large time-line of all the events that the student just learned from the texts.

This needs to be completed so the student can get to the end and the iconic scene of Rosa waiting for the bus. This is a great way to learn history.

🙋🏽♂️🤷🏻♀️How do I submit my Playground to be featured in Koala Bites?
If you have a Playground you would like to have in this newsletter, or for that matter, anything the readers might find useful. Just click that button that says “Submissions”. That will open an email for you to describe what you would like to submit.
I like to schedule a time where I can come to your classroom and tour the Playground. Then I will do a short write-up. There is no cost for this.

👿🌋From a poorly run, shady company to a full on scam
It always helps me to write these sort of things down, so just ignore it if you have no interest. It’s just me venting. I feel better already 😆.
