Koala Go
🐨🎤How I use Koala Go classroom recordings
I usually don’t record entire classes, although maybe I should, but I do record about two minutes of speaking practice so we can go over it in the next lesson using a transcript as well as the recording. Click the presentation below to see the process I use.
AI
🤖🤫AI agent started a math tutoring company
This item came to my attention by way of a brief mention of AI agents working in browsers in one of the AI newsletters I follow.
I usually have a peek when I see these types of articles as they are one of my favorite topics in AI. Other people are certainly interested as well since the company received almost $3 million to work on these ideas.
Although agents like this are still primitive I was impressed with the things that it did in this blog post about starting a tutoring company. This is a subject I think many of us would or should be interested in.
Now the agent wasn’t able to completely set up everything 100%, it also wasn’t asked to teach the classes, but it did an amazing job, especially (in my opinion) with the emails and responses.
I will be keeping my eye on this company!
Enjoy!!

Hoo wudda thunk et?

I’m actually a bit surprised to still be publishing Koala Bites every week or at all actually. Thank you everyone that has been out there reading my rantings consistently and occasionally purchasing a Playground.
Some weeks it’s hard to get my articles written on time as my teaching schedule is slowly filling-up, plus various other projects and chores I need to do.
That being said, Koala Bites has been a very positive experience for me. I’m getting needed practice with my writing, my presentations are looking better and take less time make, I’m starting to do some videos now that I figured out the basics of editing them on Canva, there are more plusses but I’m just going to leave it there for now.
Originally, I was hoping to have other folks contribute to the articles and submit Playgrounds to review, however, this has not happened yet. Not sure if people are just shy, not interested in sharing, or have nothing to share. Regardless, I will soldier on as I am still enjoying the process and all the things I learn along the way!

💧👩🏻🏫Seeking content for Dunk The Teacher and Escape the planet
Do you like the concept behind these games but they don’t have the right content for you? Send me an email about it.
My original plan was to offer many different versions with the content that teachers like yourself wanted (each version at $3), but since I cannot read minds I need you to tell me what you need. 😆
Submissions
🙋🏽♂️🤷🏻♀️How do I submit my Playground to be featured in Koala Bites?
If you have a Playground you would like to have in this newsletter, or for that matter, anything the readers might find useful. Just click that button that says “Submissions”. That will open an email for you to describe what you would like to submit.
I like to schedule a time where I can come to your classroom and tour the Playground. Then I will do a short write-up. There is no cost for this.
