🤖🛠️Claude asked to copy my writing style

Claude by Anthropic is one of my favorite AI tools, and like all the others it is constantly being upgraded to be more useful and user friendly.

In one of the latest updates the interface gives you options to change the style or tone of the output. There are a few default ones, AND, the option to create, edit and use your own. Wow, that could be useful.

Now honestly, this sort of thing was always possible before by using the right prompts, but this just makes it super user friendly. Now everyone can customize their Claude output to suit whatever style they need at the time.

From the screenshots you can see how easy it is to create a unique style. You can either describe it in words, or upload a sample of the desired style, which is naturally the direction I chose…because it is easier.

I uploaded the text of an editorial I wrote that day and after a few seconds Claude came back with a description of the style. “Craft deeply reflective, introspective narratives through a conversational lens of personal discovery” , hmm, interesting description.

The sample output used more difficult vocabulary than I usually like to use, so I went in to edit the style since Claude gives us that option. The new output was a bit better, and I could go on making changes to it until it was perfect, but for me this new version was close enough.

Now, anytime I want to use that style I can easily select it from my list. Mindful Memoir…
